Two Kinds of New

Modern building facing the Fortezza Nuova, via Avvalorati, LivornoA relatively modern building in “Viale degli Avvalorati”, facing the “Fortezza Nuova” (New Fortress). Please keep in mind that the “new” in the fortress name is still four centuries old.

I like the "pattern" this design creates.

Excellent design.

Very interesting! I wonder how much privacy there is from one balcony to the next.

It is difficult to mix old and new and sometimes it ends up great. Not sure if it does here but I like the angle!

Nice from your down angle. But I still prefer the old-old in general.

Your photo makes this new building seem quite attractive. I wonder if it seems as appealing from other angles.

"New" has many meanings, doesn't it?

I guess it must be a fantastic view from these balconies.

And the sky above continues to be new as well, every day. Interesting architecture indeed. Please have a good Wednesday.
